Dry fasting is fasting without food and water. Most people will think, “Is it possible? Why do I need this? Is this some kind of madness? The body cannot survive without water. I’ll die of dehydration in 3 days!”. Actually this is what written in textbooks.
In fact, everything is not as difficult and scary as it seems at a first glance. Most importantly, dry fasting really works. Many people proved this by their own experience. They were taking a lot of medicines, but could not get rid of chronic diseases or illnesses. Some of those who tried dry fasting, got rid of diseases that were considered incurable by medicine.
Majority of people live like they are immortal and ahead of them is Eternity! They push away all thoughts of death. But statistics shows that people have more diseases in the working age than before.
Diseases that showed most increase are those connected with the digestive system, then with the respiratory system and then those caused by infections and parasites.
Wherever you go, everyone would complain about their health. There are practically no healthy people. And where would they come from, if health given to a person at birth (provided they were born healthy), is thoughtlessly wasted. We often get sick, we gain weight, feel tired, irritated and unhappy.
“Well, what do you want? I am 50 already!», many would say. Should it really be like that?
The way out
Visiting medical institutions and doctors is sometimes a waste of time and money. When you realize this, you begin to search some other healing method.
There are many paths to health. But there is one, which is the fastest and most effective solution to many issues – from spiritual rebirth to healing from deadly diseases. Dry fasting can give you all of this.
If you were diagnosed a fatal disease but you decided to fight for life, if you want to become slimmer and stabilize your weight forever, if you want to radically cleanse your body, improve your health and quality of life, increase energy, it is better not to say, “I will not succeed, this is not for me».
For those who find dry fasting as completely incredible, I’d like to give one more proof. The Nobel Committee admitted that fasting is good for health. In September 2016, the Nobel Committee identified the winner in the field of physiology and medicine. It was the Japanese researcher Yoshinori Ohsumi, whose works revealed one of the mechanisms of the vital activity of our cells — autophagy.
What is autophagy?
I’ll try to explain it in simple terms. Let’s imagine the apartment where we live. All sort of garbage will inevitably store there, that is why we regularly clean the apartment. Similar processes are going in the body cells.
So-called “garbage” is accumulating in the cell in the process of its activity. The “garbage” stays there awaiting a clear-out. This clear-out in the cell is called autophagy. It is like disposal and processing of unusable parts of the cell.
Thanks to the autophagy, the cell is cleared of infection and toxins.
Autophagy begins to work most intensely when the body is fasting. During fasting the cell has to generate energy from its internal resources — from the accumulated “garbage” that includes pathogenic bacteria. This phenomenon is also called «self-eating». The body disintegrates old, unsuitable or damaged cells and turns them into a source of energy and growth.
Someone might think, “Do I need to fast? Why should I torture myself and is there any value in this?”. Let’s have a closer look at our everyday diet.
We are constantly chewing something. In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, we have regular snacks. We all eat wrong: we don’t chew properly, eat much and at the wrong time: coffee in the morning, and in the evening we overeat with a substantial dinner. We consume a lot of frozen food, canned food, sweets, alcohol.
As a result of such regular malnutrition, all our organs and tissues are overwhelmed with toxins that the body does not have time to dispose of. Our body and all the organs need a rest and an opportunity to clean up, reboot. This is what dry fasting can make – purify and reload the body, soul and mind.
Reboot for the soul
For two thousand years the Christian religion has recommended «prayer and fasting,» and thousands of preachers have recounted the story of forty days of starvation in the desert. Religious fasting was often practiced in early Christianity during the Middle Ages. Tommaso Campanella wrote that sickly nuns often sought salvation in fasting “seven times seventy hours,” or twenty-one and a half days.
Fasting is often mentioned in the Bible, where several long-term fastings are recorded.

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, and Moses had two tablets of testimony in his hand when he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that his face began to shine with rays from the fact that God spoke to him. And Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, and, behold, his face shone, and they were afraid to approach him.
Bible, New Testament. The Gospel of Matthew, chapter 4: 1-2 (Jesus — 40 days): Then Jesus was led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil and, after fasting for forty days and forty nights, finally hungry.
Dry fasting greatly affects our perception of the world and provokes reassessment of our life. When we do not drink or eat, doors open to us to a completely different dimension. We become fearless: free from fear. And first of all, the most powerful fear: to be left without food and without water.
After all, what are we striving for? For safety and comfort. Dry fasting helps you feel your own strength to do without the main suppliers of energy for the life of the body. And through this, to feel the incredible power and freedom from many restrictions and stereotypes imposed on us from childhood.
Dry fasting clears the mind
In a very short period of time you can get what years of meditation and travelling to monasteries would not have done. There are not so many quiet and peaceful places left in the world, it is not always easy to get there, and not many of us manage to find time for regular meditation.
Dry fasting: what does the practice prove?
Dry fasting is the most powerful and effective means of solving various problems. Let’s name most important benefits that fasting can give you.
Loss of weight and its stabilization
The fastest way to lose weight is by practicing different types of dry fasting. When there is no external source of water, disintegration of adipose tissue is going faster, providing the body with the necessary supply of not only water, but energy as well. The metabolic rate changes, which helps to slim down rather quickly and eventually stabilize weight.
During dry fasting, adipose tissue is burned three times faster than during water fasting.
Boosting immunity
With severe water deficit, the body gets rid not only of excess fat, but also «self-eats» all weak, old and sick cells, which it does not need any more (now this is confirmed by the Nobel Committee!).
Another important thing that happens is that all “uninvited” guests in our body like infections, viruses and bacteria are dying. As a result of these processes, the tissues of the whole body are renewed and immunity increases.
Fighting inflammation
Dry fasting puts the body in extreme conditions, forcing it to extract water from the cells. Therefore, «extra» body tissues (adipose tissue, tumors, edema, cysts, acne, boils, purulent accumulations like rhinitis, etc.) break down and leave the body faster than during fasting on water.
Protection from radiation
As you know, it is impossible to escape from radiation. But using fasting in the treatment of irradiated patients after atomic explosions in Japan, as well as after the accident at Chernobyl nuclear power station, scientists achieved excellent results. Multiple experiments and tests led to decrease of radiation levels of the patients.
Rejuvenating effect
If you follow the recovery protocol after dry fasting, your body will start to actively produce stem cells, that will lead to rejuvenation and general renewal. Rejuvenating effect will be discernible.
